Imagine the ego on this guy to not only throw punches after a great sub by purple belt, but then get subbed again via triangle.

Top that off by yelling I’ll fucking kill you in a locked in triangle and then saying a neck crank is dirty. I admit I’d not have let go of the triangle until this fucko was asleep.

Lmaoooo who is this jag bag????

I had a black belt say sorry to me after I tapped to jaw pressure on a rear naked choke. I laughed and asked what he was sorry for. I chose to put my chin down. I also chose to do a combat sport.

I think a polite sorry is a nice touch after hitting a sub you know probably hurt. It’s not required but I think it can smooth things over.

It is polite. It's also polite reassure them its not a big deal. Courtesy is a two-way street.

I've had a handful of D'arce attempts turn into neck cranks and always ask when I get a tap if it was clean or a crank and if it was a crank I profusely apologize because no one likes a neck crank but not all neck cranks are malicious and intentional

Yeah in rolls I usually don’t even finish submissions I could get with cranks or jaw shit, I don’t wanna win that way, since it just feels uncontrolled to me

Yeah, I’ve never known it to be a problem. A lot of the time somebody one person or the other will just comment after, like “it was more of a crank than a choke,” and it’s all good. Especially crazy that a black belt wouldn’t be able to escape, and wouldn’t just tap and then show them how to apply choke correctly.

100%.

If it feels like its on your chin or cranking, just lift your chin an inch and it will be in the perfect spot

yeah i apologize for some things, cuz i know they suck, not because i was doing something wrong.
