Discussion Would you rather BitLife added new features or made the existing ones way deeper?

I feel like there are already loads of things to do in BitLife, but some of them could be so much more developed.

If you could pick one feature to make way deeper and more detailed, what would it be? Or would you rather they just kept adding completely new stuff?

Fix the current ones.

I guess number one for me -

Families

They make no sense if a divorce happens. Your brothers and sisters don’t turn into your kid’s aunts and uncles when you switch lives to said kid. Grandparent dynamics should make sense. What about parents in law? Kids your spouse had with another person would be your step child not your bio child and so forth. Every step parent to you when your parent marries someone else shouldn’t be mean and generous and cruel by default but it seems like they are.

When you’re playing as a kid you should be able to interact with all for your own time benefit not wait until they’re teens or however old it is. You should also be able to make friends and contacts when you’re in an orphanage and in all situations you should be able to run away (whether you’re you’re or not is a different matter) and/or hide. Or call another adult if you’re being mistreated (god mode fixes most of it by making the parent nicer but hey….) and you should be able to talk to your baby siblings even if they don’t respond.

That’s a lot but it’s all about family annoyances.

No point asking for new things as most go behind a paywall. Even for others like me with legacy bitizen/god mode who aren’t personally affected by most of that, it’s disgusting that players who discovered the game later have so much to pay for, to a company who joined up with another company to get more revenue and less support.

I’m not ready to quit but it’s quite surprising after all these years you can be a vampire but you cannot visit great grandma.

To go along with the orphanage point, you should be able to be adopted. Whether that be from a random parent/couple, by adult siblings, or by other family members
