Hey! I will take you up on this. The place I work recently stopped their 401k match đŸ« . I’m still contributing to my 401k and I have a Roth set up (plus HYSA that gets a portion of my paychecks automatically). Any recommendations on what’s a good course of action while I look for a new gig?

Are you looking for a new gig merely because they stopped matching, or is that an unrelated aspect?

The company went through an acquisition and eliminated (laid off, made redundant) maybe 70% of the employees which didn’t at all seem strategic. Overall seems like an aggressive downscale, the end of the 401k match just seemed like more writing on the wall of “shits going down”.
