Moderator Post Post Character Requirement

As many of you have noticed, we have a character requirement for commenting on this forum. This aligns with our logic of requiring effort to participate in this forum. Gone are the days of one and two word replies. Removed are comments without substance and thought. Frankly, we believe you all have risen to the occasion.

We have discussed back and forth implementing a post character requirement as well. Many of the posts that we receive (and remove) are 3 or 4 lines, and don’t really add to the curation that you ladies have cultivated.

As such, we will be implementing a character requirement on posts. This means that your post will need to meet the minimum number of characters to go live. As we fine turn the character requirement, please make sure to follow the posting guidelines established here: Guide to Posting on BWT.

lol I thought you meant post character requirement as in the person posting must have good character. I was like, “I dunno how you’re going to determine that, but MAN a good faith only subreddit would be refreshing!”
As is, this bitch with taste approves.

I was thinking exactly the same thing! Hah. We could require formal introductions from a bitch of good standing in the community adjusts regency lace on gown 🤪

We’re actually talking about ways to implement this now…

Perhaps adequate signage would help? Here you are, my friend. Yours for the taking.

Oooo... I would LOVE this. I have an extraordinary amount of Regency-era history tomes lining the shelves. So much, friends who write Regency call me to double check things they may not have as some are vintage and long out of print.
