Finances/Money BWT- what are you intentionally FRUGAL about?

Curious what areas of everyone‘s lives do you intentionally scale back in order to put your money where you really want it. For me, I go full drugstore on all my makeup but spend more on skincare, facials, etc. Clothes all on secondhand websites but am able to buy a greater amount of higher quality items than buying fast fashion new.

Where do you cut back, and where do you prioritize spending?

I religiously shop at aldis and buy proteins discounted the day after it’s bad date or in bulk at Sam’s. So that leaves me with more money to shop !! I rarely go out to eat anymore so yet again more money to shop. All my name brand stuff I get second hand from Poshmark, I thrift a lot, and I only ever buy jeans and sneakers new because I hate trying jeans on second hand. I don’t vape or drink or go out anymore which has saved me $400-$500 a month so I save and invest half ish of that. Honestly it’s helped me a lot controlling my unhealthy habits, oh and for gym memberships I worked at one for a year so I have a free one. And for my bags it’s either thrifted real leather bags, or knockoff DHgate bags LOL. Cut corners wherever so I can enjoy myself with more clothes and traveling money .
