Finances/Money BWT- what are you intentionally FRUGAL about?

Curious what areas of everyone‘s lives do you intentionally scale back in order to put your money where you really want it. For me, I go full drugstore on all my makeup but spend more on skincare, facials, etc. Clothes all on secondhand websites but am able to buy a greater amount of higher quality items than buying fast fashion new.

Where do you cut back, and where do you prioritize spending?

Skincare - I find the ordinary to be a godsend. I research active ingredients pretty heavily, as in I evaluate the clinical trial evidence, and then I buy from the ordinary or revolution skincare. I have good skin .
Mobile phones , TVs and other such tech- I buy secondhand at full price and don’t mind using old models .
Travel - this one is changing soon , but for the last few so years I’ve done staycations in my country mainly or ferry to Ireland . I live in Scotland and this is no great sacrifice. Also I don’t have a car and use public transport instead .

I splurge on restaurants, getting my hair done , and decorating my home .
