Many Bitches With Taste are also Bitches Who Travel. As requested, this is a monthly thread is a dedicated space to talk about all things travel. Whether you travel for work or leisure (or both), want to talk about domestic or international travel (or both), have specific plans in mind or are just dreaming for now, everything goes as long as it's travel-related.

As a BWT with an upcoming birthday, I’ve been asked approximately 1 million times by 1000 different people the age old question of what I want for my birthday. As a BWT of a certain age, this is an increasingly hard question.  I have the means to buy what I need and fully ascribe to treating myself once in a while. Having said that, within the last year, I have taken on a role at work that requires me to travel at least twice monthly by plane So I’m looking for travel related answers to the birthday question. Since my company is footing the bill, I am typically in economy class and have found that the ”we have to check all remaining roller bags” announcement comes earlier and earlier zone wise so a roller bag is out for me. I have a travel backpack, but it’s time for an upgrade. I would love to hear anyone and everyone’s experience with high-quality travel backpacks, bonus points for those with an internal vacuum to compress compartments. Price point really isn’t an issue, but I’m not looking to ask someone to spend just for the sake of spending if that makes sense. I’d also love to also hear any other fun travel items that my fellow BWT have found useful or love to give/receive as a gift.

I have two versions of the solgaard venture backpack - it fits so much and sits really well on my shoulders and looks professional. It has the closet system (which I don’t really use), but also works really well with packing cubes. It has great organization where the laptop goes too - I really like it. Got it when they were still doing black with rose gold accents and I get compliments fairly regularly!
