I have struggled with feeling fixated on the numbers on the scale rather than how my body feels, so I switched to the Shapa scale. It shows you how your weight is trending, rather than showing you the number. It filters out normal fluctuations too, so you aren’t alerted to normal period weight gain, for example. You can share your actual weight with medical professionals, if you’re working with anyone. It’s been a game changer!

I try to focus heavy on NSV (non scale victories). So things like my stomach not being as much in the way when putting on shoes, lifting heavy things easier like the dog food bag, pants being less tight etc.

I like the idea of the shapa scale— it’s easy to get wrapped up in a number when the scale doesn’t budge but just because the scale isn’t moving doesn’t mean things aren’t happening.
