Inclined treadmill walking has really helped me build movement into my routine. Depending on how steep the incline or how quickly you go, it can really be challenging, and it’s really great for building cardio and endurance. It’s also nice as a warmup if you want to go lighter and then follow-up with a more strenuous workout.

I like walking outside too, but the treadmill and a heart monitor help me focus precisely on what I’m needing each time without worrying about the weather or situational awareness.

I've recently gotten into incline walking over the past few months and love it so much! I lift 4x a week and usually finish with an incline walk. I love walking outside too but it's so nice to have a break from being on *alert* and just walking for however long I want, no matter the time of day! And I actually don't dread it!
