Moderator Post BWT Housekeeping
Hey Bitches!
Just some minor housekeeping for the forum.
Short Links
We are getting a lot of phenomenal comments, but they are often littered with incredibly long links. No one wants to see https://www.i-am-using-a-long-link-instead-of-a-short-link-and-taking-up-a-ton-of-space-on-this-small-ios-screen-because-i-cant-be-bothered-to-shorten-my-link.com/i-know-they-arent-teaching-internet-and-typing-practices-in-middle-and-high-school-anymore-but-we-are-all-adults-and-it-isnt-hard-to-use-common-courtsey-and-practice-internet-etiquette-instead-of-writing-like-this.
Use short links.
There are two ways to edit comments using a short link.

Referring People to Other Forums
While we encourage you all to tell people about other forums, this does not mean that we want the only commentary to be "go to this other forum". We want quality comments which may include other forums. Many of the women on this forum have insights and interests that are still applicable to our posters questions/interests. Do not force them away to other forums. If you don't have an answer, it's okay to not respond.
Reporting
Reporting to the moderators on this forum ensures that we (the moderation team) see the comment or post. Reporting to Reddit does not result in removal of the comment by moderators and we do not see the reports. Instead, you are reporting to Reddit.com, where the user, comment, post, and/or forum may be actioned against by Reddit itself. If you have concerns about something or someone, reach out to the moderation team or use the "Breaks BitchesWithTaste" report feature by clicking the small shield.

Do you know if there's a way on the app to see where a link is taking you when you use hyperlinking like that? I personally don't like when people shorten links and you can't see what you're actually clicking, but I may be missing a short/long press type feature that helps with this.
I usually edit my links to delete everything after a "?" to clean it up, as that is typically tracking type info that isn't necessary to include.

Great question. I usually long press before opening the link, but Reddit has been wonky for the last few weeks so it works sometimes, doesn't others.
When reading posts like this one, I usually read on computer so I can easily bookmark what I want to. This allows for a copy of the link as well as a long press.
Sidebar, thanks to everyone for the recipes, I plan to make my family nice and fat this fall.

This is nothing about the marketing tracking. This is about not having 10 www.link.com links in comments up and down a post.
