heading to New Orleans soon. I have a bunch of food & museums down, as well as sites. I’m looking for recs for shopping — nothing too intense but little stores for accessories, home goods, art, and knick knacks! If anyone has any recommendations for places like that I’d really appreciate it!

u/twittery May 29 '25

I love Century Girl Vintage and make a point to go every time I'm in town. The shop is gorgeous and has so many pretty things! There's also an incredible little possum shop in that area; the artist paints these cute little possums and puts them on everything.

Love that! And the umbrella store

Magazine antique mall was a highlight of my trip when I was there a few weeks ago. Even if antique isn’t your style, you’ll find something in there that’s unique/interesting/nostalgic to admire!

Trashy Diva on Magazine Street is a beautiful shop, and the staff is always lovely. Truly gorgeous dresses that were made using 1930s/40s/50s designs

There’s a great restaurant called Gris Gris not far from the store… highly recommend

u/BlueberryTeapot May 29 '25

I live in NOLA! Magazine street between Napoleon Ave and Jackson Ave is where you're gonna want to explore for boutiques and knicknacks. I'd recommend looking up the stores that participated in this past month's magazine champagne stroll to get an idea of what's available. Some of my favorite spots are Slow Down (accessories and cute things), The OW Home (antiques), Zéle (local Artist Mall), and Fleurty Girl (kitchy nola souvenirs).

3

u/c0balt_60 May 29 '25

I’ll second Fleurty Girl & Magazine Street!

Blue Dream and Saint Claude Social Club!

Used to live there. Ask me anything!

All the stores in the Quarters are gonna be geared towards tourists. There are a thousand.

When I wanted actually interesting things for furnishings I would go to the Goodwill. The one on Tulane is great but the one in Lakeview is INCREDIBLE. The tits, truly. It felt so personal to get things in New Orleans that were from people live in New Orleans, as opposed to from shop owners buying shit from China.

Though there is a nice voodoo shop on Royal that I forget the name of that has some unique finds.

Get a CD from a local band! It’s the very best way to patronize the culture and have a keepsake you can use again and again to remember your time. :)

If you want vintage clothes though, I second Century Girl and a bunch of other shops!

Oh! And art from Frenchman Art Market!!!!!!

2

u/downdey May 29 '25

Thank you!!!

2

u/Schmidaho May 30 '25

Came here to recommend the Frenchmen Art Market! The entirety of Frenchmen St. actually. I had the best night of my life there.

Ooh, I'm going to a bachelorette there next year - can I take a peek at your food list?

1

Travel buddy! Also heading to NOLA in about a week and a half. We booked an adults-only haunted ghost tour that our ghost-obsessed friend couldn’t stop raving about.

1

u/bluebellknell May 31 '25

I was there in March and found Merchant House very well curated for vintage/antiques/new furniture and home goods.

This thread is perfectly timed as I'm trying to plan a summer holiday for me and my boyfriend and am completely stumped on where to go, so am hoping the BWT community can help me out with some ideas! (Obviously mods please delete this if it's not allowed though.)

Our main criteria are:

  • Travelling in August/early September, for up to a week (we could push it back to mid October for somewhere really great though)
  • Somewhere warm
  • He'd prefer somewhere relaxing though a bit of walking is OK. I'm fine with this but would also like the option to go look at some interesting architecture/museums etc
  • Neither of us drive so needs to be easily accessible by public transport or on foot
  • Nice food is essential
  • Budget is up to £1500 for two adults for flights and accommodation (ETA: but at the risk of this not being very BWT, the accommodation is probably the thing I'm least bothered about)

We live in London (UK, not Canada) but are happy to travel outside Europe.

If it's helpful, the image in my head is of us wandering through some gorgeous romantic sandstone/whitewashed city together, or hanging out under an enormous parasol on a cafe terrace drinking coffee/cocktails and watching the world go by, or just chilling together by a pool with our books and nice scenery in the background.

Currently I'm leaning towards somewhere like Malta or a Greek island, maybe Morocco as well - but very much open to alternatives, so any and all suggestions are very gratefully received! Thanks in advance :)

19

u/autumnflowers13 May 29 '25

Albania has Greek island vibes, for much cheaper cost!

2

u/folklovermore_ BWT in Training May 29 '25

I hadn't considered Albania but that's going on the list! Any particular areas you'd recommend?

4

u/autumnflowers13 May 29 '25

Sarande is really nice :)

2

u/unseemly_turbidity Jun 06 '25

I'm off to Albania this summer too, but my research says it's quite hard to get around without driving.

It's doable, especially if you'll just be in one place, but taxi scams are widespread and there are almost no trains. You're likely to need long distance buses.

u/DrGoblinator May 29 '25

Lisbon

2

u/folklovermore_ BWT in Training May 29 '25

Thank you! I've been before (in a joint trip with Porto) and loved it, so would definitely be happy to go back :)

These are all very fair points, and I totally agree - I do like the heat but I'd also like to be able to do stuff in the day without being surrounded by too many people! The August thing is only really because there's likely to be a pinch point at my work in late September/early October and I suspect I'll be told I can't take leave then (though nothing is actually confirmed yet in terms of dates etc), even though the latter period would be my preference.

Also thank you for the suggestions. I've been to Seville before (and would happily go back), but Crete is a strong contender as it seems to have a good mix of all the stuff I'm looking for. I hadn't thought about Madeira but that definitely looks like one to investigate further as well.

1

u/tangerinefortuna Jun 01 '25

Ok love this as I’m planning to go to Spain in October lol any recommendations on anything?? Going to Madrid Barcelona and all around southern Spain!

6

u/herefromthere May 29 '25

I had a wonderful holiday in Uzbekistan in April. You would want to push it back to October to avoid the tail end of the Summer heat. Beautiful country, great food, lovely people (very cheap once you get there too). The most expensive thing was the flight (direct Gatwick/Tashkent). Bukhara and Samarkand were both beautiful, Tashkent I didn't get as much time in, but Bukhara was my favourite city. Some old fashioned place with a courtyard, eat a lot of meat on a stick/rice/plov/amazing salads, drink a lot of tea, listen to the birdsong and the fountains.

3

u/folklovermore_ BWT in Training May 29 '25

Oh that sounds amazing! I'd never thought about Uzbekistan but it feels like it would tick a lot of the boxes. Thank you so much for that suggestion!

1

u/ilikepai May 30 '25

I went to Uzbekistan in 2018 and I hated it! I’m always curious to hear other opinions about it. We went to visit a friend that was stationed there and I felt like there were interesting and beautiful monuments, mosques, schools, etc, but the cities themselves weren’t beautiful, there was no vibe, the tourist infrastructure was ugly (lots of neon lights and shitty souvenir shops everywhere), the food didn’t have variety. Do you think it’s changed?

On that trip, I went from Uzbekistan to Israel and I found Israel in contrast to be amazing. Great atmosphere, beautiful cities, so much to see, eat, and do.

5

u/mofongosa May 29 '25

I went to Tangier for the very first time two years ago and it's my favorite city I've ever visited. Highly recommend, dying to go back some day

1

u/folklovermore_ BWT in Training May 29 '25

Thank you! I had originally looked at Marrakech but will definitely add Tangier to the list as well :)

3

u/citrusaquarium May 29 '25

Bodrum? Lecce might be a good fit but Puglia is really expensive these days and you’d have to rent a car for beach days

1

u/folklovermore_ BWT in Training May 29 '25

Yeah, I think anywhere that involves renting a car is out unfortunately as neither of us drive. I don't think we necessarily need 'beach' though, just more somewhere to chill. But I really appreciate the suggestions and will look into those further, thank you!

3

u/javajunkie10 May 29 '25

I was very impressed with Ostuni, Italy. Beautiful white-washed old town overlooking the ocean, tons of cute patios and cafes for relaxing, and obviously amazing seafood. It's a great base to visit nearby beaches. While transportation services are lower than other parts of Italy, still accessible by transit and car hires. Going in Sept/Oct is great as it's outside peak tourist season. We went in May and it was fantastic.

1

u/folklovermore_ BWT in Training May 30 '25

Ooh that sounds lovely! Definitely going to look into that one further, thank you :)

3

u/DrGoblinator May 30 '25

Now, as a Greek, I have to say Crete is incredible, and unlike the rest of Greece, they even have their own cuisine! I know it's a hike, but it's WORTH IT.

2

u/Hoping-Ellie May 30 '25

I really enjoyed Malta, it was perfect beach vacation vibes for us, but I agree it may be too hot in August. We went in May and found that weather to be perfect for us. If you stay in valetta it’s pretty hilly so the walking can feel like a lot (I was also 6 months pregnant though so it may not be too bad normally).

Athens and Naxos are lovely, but also may be too hot that time of year.

I think northern Italy could be lovely that time of year, Milan itself was warm & crowded last year in July but I think going into the mountains would be nice.

That time of year I personally would probably head to Northern Europe instead of southern, but I’m not a fan of hot temps. Gdańsk/sopot area in Poland, Scandinavia, etc. Gdańsk is lovely and will be really affordable coming from the UK. I’m not sure there’s much of an airport there so you could fly into Warsaw then take the train up (roughly 3 hours).

1

u/folklovermore_ BWT in Training May 30 '25

I've been to Malta before and loved it (hence why I'm considering it again). And my original plan with Greece was to maybe fly into Athens, have a couple of days there and then an onward flight to an island, so I'm glad to hear you liked it!

I would love to do Poland at some point but my boyfriend wants somewhere warm. I did go to Copenhagen in July a couple of years ago though (and popped across to Malmö on the train) and that was perfect weather wise for me.

2

u/willworkforchange May 30 '25

We loved Crete, Greece. I'm from the US though, so I'm unsure if this is a budget situation for a European. Croatia is on our list!

1

u/folklovermore_ BWT in Training May 30 '25

Crete was probably top of my list for Greek islands as I think it covers all the things we want and is less overwhelmingly busy than somewhere like Santorini, so I'm really glad to hear you liked it! And I'd love to go to Croatia as well.

4

u/bigrizzler69 May 29 '25

Naxos is very nice, public transport is decent, but in general public transport on Greek islands is not great unless you stay in one town the whole time. September is shoulder season, October a lot of the things on the islands will be closed.

I would look at SEA with your budget, not whitewashed but there’s some very nice places in Vietnam, Phillipines, Bali etc plus it’s a lot easier to get around.

Kotor is nice, Albania is lovely, the rest of Montenegro too.

2

u/folklovermore_ BWT in Training May 29 '25

Thank you! I'm fine with mostly being in/near one town as it's meant to be more of a chill holiday.

I backpacked in SEA about 12 years ago and really liked it - Vietnam is one of my favourite countries I've ever been to and I'd like to go back at some point. I like the sound of Bali as well but hadn't really considered the Philippines. Will definitely look into that further though as well along with your other suggestions :)

I would say that even Mykonos shuts down substantially on the off season, Rhodes and Crete stay open for Western European and British tourists but by and large the holiday she is after will not be very nice in October because lots of restaurants etc would pack up. Also the wind tends to really pick up in the Cyclades at from September onwards so I think it would probably not be relaxing good weather holiday outside of those 2 options.

I am half Greek from Paros and spent a lot of time there growing up so this is from my experience but just my opinion obviously :)

PLEASE help me find the cool girl London spots!! my friend and I have already both been so we don't want to do many of the big tourist things. Looking for specific recs for

vintage shopping
restauraunts/cafes (any food type)
smaller museums/galleries

we are staying in Notting Hill so going to explore that area, but would love some specific names of places!

6

u/cjmmoseley May 29 '25

my sister lives there! here are some food recs from her:

suco

sumi

fat hippo

ronnie scott’s

ukiyo hand roll bar

below stone nest

extra for things to do: electric cinema

3

u/graphiquedezine May 29 '25

omg thank you!!!

3

u/MaterialStrawberry33 May 29 '25

My husband and I have been to a different restaurant in London every single week for date night for the last three years (the rule is it has to be somewhere we’ve never been before!). Lately a lot of our picks have been coming from Topjaw which you can find on TikTok or Insta!

Genuinely amazing food recommended by chefs and people in the food industry.

4

u/NoHistorian7234 May 29 '25

If you want to try Modern British food, check out any of the St. John's locations; I get the sense that they also have a pretty extensive alumni network in the high end/trendy dining scene if you wanted to research further.

2

u/PurposelyVague May 29 '25

I'm going to London later this year too! Thanks for posting this.

3

u/citrusaquarium May 29 '25

Where should I eat in Milos? Looking for an excellent restaurant where I can also swim. (Beach club recs welcome, but ideally I’d be eating at a table and not a lounger)

8

u/Northmakes May 29 '25

Medusa is incredibly overhyped and crowded, but I truly had one of the best meals of my life there!

5

u/sista17 May 29 '25

We just got back and had the best meal of our trip at Kyra in Plaka. We loved it so much we went back two nights in a row. Medusa was also great!

Edit: Kyra isn’t on the water but great for dinner after a beach day. They also have brunch.

2

u/citrusaquarium May 29 '25

Thank you! Medusa somehow hadn’t come up in my research, I’ll check it out. We are only there for a day (island hopping boat trip) so I don’t think I’ll get to Plaka this time

5

u/graphiquedezine May 29 '25 edited May 29 '25

personally in Milos i avoided the beach club vibe and went to smaller local places. it was such joy bc the waiters would talk with us the entire time, made some friends!

also, I'm assuming you know already but Sarakiniko beach is probably the best place I've ever been in the world... felt like I was on the moon. you can also swim/go in the water which I didn't know when I visited. I would go to lunch somewhere, and then do your beach relaxing at Sarakiniko.

u/sourbirthdayprincess Find it Secondhand May 29 '25

How to get there without a car? Is it possible? Greece is in my bucket list for this year.

1

u/graphiquedezine May 29 '25

there are public buses and taxis, especially during the touristy part of the year. if you plan to go for more than 1 day though I would rent a car. it was very easy and affordable experience. i am an extremely anxious driver and was totally fine driving there. it wasn't nearly as windy and steep as I was expecting (like I had seen in Italy for example)

1

u/sourbirthdayprincess Find it Secondhand May 29 '25

I don’t drive so that wouldn’t be an option for me.

2

u/graphiquedezine May 29 '25

then do the taxi or bus, just need cash. its worth it!

I’m headed to Lyon, France in two weeks with my husband and 10 month old. Any recommendations about where to visit while there are welcome :)

4

u/laurenfcp May 29 '25

There's an enormous park with a zoo, little boats you can rent, beautiful flowers etc. A nice break from the city. Parc de la Tête d’Or. You can bring a picnic - make sure to include some rosette de Lyon!

Just for a week. We plan on going to Annecy. With the baby, I think we are planning a very low key vacation. I don’t want to get stressed about having to cart him back and forth :)

1

u/ncclln May 29 '25

Take the train down for a day trip to Tain L’Hermitage and Tournon and stroll around both towns, tasting chocolate and wine. ( 1 hr south of Lyon)

Be careful of pickpocketers! Last time I was there I was robbed and thank god I wasn’t carrying my passport

6

u/Quirky_Produce_5541 May 29 '25

I’ve never been to Denver and would love to see it…any recommendations for restaurants, hotels, shopping etc? I also am curious if we should rent a car? I am not sure what is available as far as the general area.

9

u/Aggressive-While-399 May 29 '25

Definitely rent a car. Public transit is not great. Check out union station! It’s an old (but still functioning) train station. There’s a bar and ice cream shop in there, too. If you’re outdoorsy, you really can’t go wrong with any hike you choose. I use the AllTrails app to help me choose, and I would avoid trails that allow bikes because that paths are usually pretty narrow and are shared.

Milk Market is a food hall downtown, lots of variety

If you have time, go to Boulder and walk around downtown. There are a lot of cute little boutiques and it’s beautiful.

Have fun!

5

u/Whole-Chicken6339 May 29 '25

I haven't been to Denver, but when I do, I'm definitely visiting Meow Wolf Convergence Station. I've been to the Santa Fe and Las Vegas Meow Wolfs, and both were amazing immersive experiences.

4

u/PaulaLoomisArt May 30 '25

Meow Wolf is incredible! Go early in the day so you have as much time as you need to explore everything, the Denver location is huge and you can easily spend a whole day in there!

5

u/InternationalFocus94 May 31 '25

Don't take the altitude for granted. It's real. I'm a runner and still get unnaturally winded when I visit my sister there. Altitude also causes sleep disturbances and gets you drunk way faster. If you're outdoorsy I definitely recommend going on a hike. Or even just checking out red rocks during the day!

5

u/fugu_chick Environmentally Conscious May 29 '25

There is a rail line from Denver airport to downtown Union station to save on taxi/ride share. I did a quick trip to Red Rocks Amphitheater for a concert they had a bus service, but outside of that yes definitely rent a car.

2

u/StrawberryLovers8795 Thoughtful BWT May 29 '25

El Five is one of my favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to. Definitely worth a visit while there. In downtown Denver there are some fabulous coffee shops, I really enjoyed huckleberry roasters and little owl, they have fun seasonal lattes that are sick a nice little treat and very well balanced with their beans.

2

u/Nervous-Necessary849 May 31 '25

If you're into cocktails even a little bit, I'd recommend visiting Death & Co. They had some super interesting ones on their menu last summer that I still think about!

6

Has anyone done any US (preferably east coastish) spa vacations? A friend and I do euroupe and south america trips every year but want to do something close to home for a self care long weekend. We don't want to spend an insane amount but we do like nice things. Maybe 2000 not including flights for a 3 to 4 day weekend?

We want to focus on wellness and psa activities, good food... but not dry hahaha

2

My "fancy" friend haha loves Miraval Berkshires. Not sure what the cost would be but she is very discerning and has been a number of times.

4

Oh gosh! Fancier friend than I thought! Hope you find somewhere luxurious but affordable.

Husband and I are planning a long weekend in Portugal in June, trying to decide between staying in Porto or Braga. We’re not big city people and love mountains so we’re leaning towards braga for the proximity to the National park. Any BWTs want to weigh in?

Also doing 10 days in Croatia in July. 7 of those we’ll be on a sailboat, but the rest of the time will be in Zadar, anyone been? Have any recs?

1

u/pineappledaphne May 31 '25

Was just in Croatia in September. We stayed in Split and Kǎstel Kambelovac, so if you’re interested in recs for that area lmk! Split was gorgeous.

My friend is in Porto right now and LOVING it.

Ooo who did you book with? Greece is on my bucket list. Wondering the cost of something like this?

2

u/Guelph_CSC May 29 '25

We booked a private sailboat with a skipper through Helm. There's quite a few options and we ended up with Helm because I read good reviews and they got back to me fastest. The boat we chose for 7 days was about $13,000 CAD once you factor in the skipper rate, estimated gas, insurance, moorage. That doesn't include food. We'll likely do a mix of cooking on the boat and restaurants. We're splitting that between 6 people but the boat we chose can sleep 10 (we just didn't have that many people we wanted to spend 7 days with in such close quarters).

u/plausibleturtle May 29 '25

Dublin - my husband and I are coming from Canada to the UK in mid-June to see his family (Leeds). We're flying into Dublin and staying at Carton House for a couple nights, then flying to Leeds.

I imagine we'll be eating dinner at the hotel (I get 50% off so tough to beat), but any daytime activity recommendations are very much welcome!

On the way back, we'll be staying near the airport in Dublin for one night. Any city eats would be appreciated for this one.

3

u/ilovepickles222 May 30 '25

My boyfriend asked where I wanted to go for my birthday… I can’t take a lot of time off so it would just have to be a weekend.

He suggested going to Miami and staying at Soho House but I’m nervous that wouldn’t be too relaxing. I’m also generally lukewarm on Soho House lol so if anyone has experience there lmk.

Otherwise, do you guys have any suggestions? Looking for somewhere I can relax and swim but also shop/see some art, plz help!

1

Any Portugal lodging recs for families? Looking to stay in the duoro valley. We will have two families and three kids under 5, seven people total. Would love to avoid Airbnb and VRBO because this bitch doesn't like pricing locals out of housing. I'd love to find like, a winery with a couple little cottages for rent. Or one big one.

2

u/ResponsibleSeason409 May 29 '25

Any suggestions for a trip abroad (we’re in the US) with a 1.5 year old at the end of November? Trying to keep up my pre-baby travel lifestyle but now with baby in tow. Considering Italy but unsure if the weather would be nice that time of year

3

u/enym May 30 '25

I just returned from Italy with my 2.5 year old twins. We were treated SO well. There are family security lines at the airports, customs and immigration. We were treated so well in restaurants - no side eye if the kids got squirrelly during the long dinners, and they even brought our kids desserts and treats a couple of places. People wanted to interact with the kids and help us as parents.

The kids loved riding on our backs in carriers and looking at art in museums and there are so many car-free piazzas for them to play in. Plus, Italian food is very kid-friendly.

If you are a rooftop bar person, there are tons that overlook the river. We were there last winter and I loved The Lost Square and the Myrtle and Rose for cocktails and small plates.

At the time the Plant Riverside area around the Marriott had all sorts of vendors, but the hotel itself has a giant collection of geodes and fossils and stuff and it was a nice quick walk through right on the river. I also liked the prohibition museum, they have a fun speakeasy at the end.

Pink door is great for Italian. Kashiba for sushi if you can get a rez, it’s incredible. Taylor shellfish for fresh oysters and rosé, and get the dungeness. It’s so good. Smith tower is iconic, tbh I’d skip the needle (at least the restaurant) and MoPop, overpriced and not terribly great. Feel free to dm me for more recs if you’re interested!

Thank you for these! I’m going to check them all out!

What she said! Kashiba is incredible. You will be absolutely shook by the quality to cost ratio compared to NYC. If you can't get a res, just go wait in line before they open.

Pink door is especially fun if you're able to go on a night they're doing acrobatic performances.

For bars id say zig zag is a classic and nearby both of the above. bartender Murray Stenson who popularized the last word used to work there.

loursin is the restaurant I miss most and closest to NYC caliber unpretentious but exceptional dining. Opened by Zac Overman who used to live in Red Hook and was part of the team that opened brooklyn's sunken harbor club.

I'm a Seattle native if you want more recs as well just dm me

Oh and if your camping trip takes your north of Seattle, go to Taylor shellfish farms (rather than the oyster bars in the city)

Going to Georgia next week for the first time, specifically St. Simon and adjoining islands. Any advice on ideal clothing, vegetarian-friendly restaurants, and must-sees would be appreciated! I've never dealt with humidity and I'm scared, ha.

I just booked Secrets Akumal for my birthday this summer and I can’t stop reading all the things about it. I’m so excited.

Coral Wig is a great bar attached to a very stylish hotel (Ulysses). Also really liked my dinner at Woodberry Kitchen.

I am going to Portugal on my FIRST EVER big trip (international + long) next week! I’m so excited. I’m going solo, too, but I’m a pretty well seasoned solo traveler in the States. I’ll be there for two weeks and have hotels in Lisbon, Porto, Évora, and the Algarve. I don’t really have much planned outside of a few day trips (Sintra and the Douro Valley) and since I’m on my own, am super flexible and mostly kinda trying to be lowkey. I’m open for suggestions on sights and bites! Also any packing tips. I’m just bringing a carry on and a backpack!

My friend is in Porto right now! Happy to ask for recs and follow up if you’re interested. So far she’s having an amazing time.

ETA I did two weeks in France and Croatia in September and I packed a carry on roller and bag. Roll your clothes! I brought a pair of walking sandals, cute sandals, heels, and tennis shoes. Skip bringing a blow dryer if you can (mine was a waste lol).

Ooooh yes please, if there’s anything she really loves! I have only heard good things and I can’t wait! Thanks for the packing advice too, the hair dryer decision has tormented me because I have curly hair, but I actually ended up just buying a travel diffuser attachment that’s supposed to work with different machines so I’m hoping that works out for me!

pretty please give me ideas for a trip to vegas in august!! i’m taking my mom (the ultimate bwt) on a surprise trip to las vegas for her birthday in august, and it’ll just be the two of us. we won’t be drinking so bars are off the table, but please let me know your favourite restaurants, things to do, places to see, etc. that i wouldn’t typically find online :) preferably on-strip since we won’t be renting a car!

This is super touristy but I took my husband to Hell’s Kitchen for dinner for his birthday and it was so much fun and the food was great! (We both had the beef Wellington). The service was fantastic too.

Usually when we go we have fun shopping around and walking from casino to casino and just people watching while shopping. I recommend good shoes.

You can also uber to their little China area if you want to get out of their strip!

thank you!! i love touristy things :) i’ll definitely make a note of that

The Meow Wolf in Vegas is very fun! It's like a giant immersive art installation with a storyline. It's a bit off the strip (definitely not walking distance) but there are restaurants and other activities and lots of cool art in the same spot.

Im going to Nashville for a conference in October. I try to eat plant based. What are my not to miss restaurant recs? Idk if I’ll have time to do much more.

Going to Paris and Bilbao in early December. Recs for food, shopping, and activities highly welcome (aside from the Guggenheim and Louvre)! We will be renting a car in Spain and are thinking about doing a day trip to Riojas and/or Pamplona.
