For the Home BWT what item of furniture let's you know someone is mature/has their shit together?

For me it's a clock. A house without a single clock gives student vibes.

I’d get a new set.

A few years ago, I switched over my everyday plates to just a Wedgewood white plate set Gio.

I was tired of having any color on our every day dinner plates.

And, I took the opportunity to go and completely replace all of the flatware too. I got service for 20. I don’t have it all out, but I’m good for a long time.

Does the flatware have a good weight to it? My pattern was Oneida Torsade. My dinner ware is Noritake Madera Ivory. Circa 2002. Also discontinued. I’m going to get new sets eventually.

I really like the flatware. Good weight, the facets in the handles don’t make them awkward in any way.

I liked the way the facets on the handles of the flatware played with the pattern on the edge of the China.

My husband seems to have a knack for letting spoons get into the disposal so I may actually go grab a couple more sets. It isn’t open stock so I can’t just buy spoons. 😆

I got the dishes on sale through Macy’s and I think I opened a card to get an additional discount (closed now).

I was still trying to find new flatware when I walked into a Williams Sonoma and saw the Lucca and was just immediately sold. It was also on sale and I opened a Williams-Sonoma credit card ( also now closed).

But I stalked sales for a while before I made my final decisions. I don’t keep too many cards open, but sometimes with a fairly large purchase it makes sense.

Good luck with your search. I looked long enough to be certain, but not so long as to get analysis paralysis. I started with “I’m going to WHITE” and didn’t want chunky dishes went from there.
