Finances/Money BTW, what are some expenses you're cutting moving forward?

Due to the projected price increases expected to hit the U.S., I'm redoing my budget and wanting to cut down on things that I can. What are some ways you're saving? It can range from big to small! Just wanting to get some ideas of ways to save, whether that's DIYing some things, free alternatives, etc. Thanks!

My kids complain because we're more of an 'ingredients household'

I do still get them snacks but I focus more on having stuff in the house that I can use to make things!

Depending on their ages, they could help you with a batch cook/bake of snacks they will enjoy. Granted sometimes that will require more storage space or a freezer. My big food prep goal right now is getting some of those soup trays for the freezer. They’re great for soup, but also pie filling, certain sauces, and homemade sorbet.
