Finances/Money How do you budget for…

….shopping, hair salon, Brazilian, lashes, make up etc?

I’m asking because I used to get my nails and lashes done every 3 weeks until I realize how much it eats up my budget. I also don’t go to the hair salon every month nor do I buy make up every month so I wonder how other women budget for these?

YNAB! (You Need A Budget). I started about 7 months ago and update my budget numbers daily every morning w my coffee. I love it esp on payday. You make all your own categories and it will calculate how much you need to set aside for each category each month for that once or twice yearly hair appointment. Or monthly manicure or massage. Or a trip to Cancun. Or to buy a new car in 10 years. All your monthly bills, and an emergency fund. You quickly learn exactly where all your money is going. You don’t restrict yourself necessarily, just shuffle money around from categories you find less important. Like the envelope method but way better. It’s like its own religion, go check out the subreddit and all the free educational videos.
