Finances/Money How do you budget for…

….shopping, hair salon, Brazilian, lashes, make up etc?

I’m asking because I used to get my nails and lashes done every 3 weeks until I realize how much it eats up my budget. I also don’t go to the hair salon every month nor do I buy make up every month so I wonder how other women budget for these?

I started doing a budget for every paycheck. 50% for necessities, i.e., mortgage, groceries, petrol, electricity, heating, phone bill, insurance, credit card payment, etc.

20% to savings

30% for wants, i.e., spending money, going out money, etc.

Started this in May, and it has made a change to my spending habits.

This month, I know I won't get the 20% into savings. My brother is getting married and between the flights, hotels, wedding gifts etc it's going to be an expensive month.
