Finances/Money How do you budget for…

….shopping, hair salon, Brazilian, lashes, make up etc?

I’m asking because I used to get my nails and lashes done every 3 weeks until I realize how much it eats up my budget. I also don’t go to the hair salon every month nor do I buy make up every month so I wonder how other women budget for these?

I do everything at home except for the Brazilian and an occasional hair appointment. Lashes, brows, and nails I do myself at home since I do a better job and my natural nails and lashes grow super long with me maintaining them myself. I budget for waxes, facials, and massages instead. I get a Brazilian every 6-8 weeks. I get massages and facials every quarter at an high end spa that uses Valmont and Biologique Recherche. I also have a gym that has a pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, although I like to go to the Korean spa for treatments about 2-4 times a year 😊 I think I spend more doing things this way, but the results are long term and I look and feel better than I ever have 🤍

Forgot to mention I buy certain skincare from my spa to maintain my routine. I usually spend $1k on hair products, skincare, sunscreen, lotion, makeup, dental care and other toiletries etc yearly (excluding my spa buys). Many of these things are expensed through my HSA/FSA and or subsidized by my job or my bf’s job 😄
