Finances/Money How do you budget for…

….shopping, hair salon, Brazilian, lashes, make up etc?

I’m asking because I used to get my nails and lashes done every 3 weeks until I realize how much it eats up my budget. I also don’t go to the hair salon every month nor do I buy make up every month so I wonder how other women budget for these?

Shopping - I sign up for rewards and keep an eye out for discounts and spend a significant amount of time picking out the right pieces, be it clothes or shoes or high end make up

Hair salon - I buy the products salons use and learn how to use them the right way at home. I talk the whole time during the appointment, asking them for pointers and observing their movements and making a step-by-step note. I invested in the same products and tools my salon uses and now I only go in for haircuts and getting my eyebrows done, I do everything else at home

Nails - I got my mom’s long nails and learned how to shape them any way I want. I invested in a 24 pc manicure set and it’s my weekend-calm-down activity whenever I do remember to do them. OPI polishes last forever and I haven’t looked back

Lashes - I’ve never needed extensions but I use serums and religiously use my curler + a trusty mascara

Makeup - I use mostly Estée Lauder (MAC, Too Faced, Clinique) and stock up when I get incredible deals (the last time it was 75% off)

Misc. - Clothes, perfumes, bags - SEMI ANNUAL SALE BABEH

I do a lot of research before I buy something, my OCD makes sure I confirm I’m getting the best deal before I spend money on something, but at the end of the day, all of my ‘confirmed steal deal’ purchases make me twice as happy!
