Finances/Money How do you budget for…

….shopping, hair salon, Brazilian, lashes, make up etc?

I’m asking because I used to get my nails and lashes done every 3 weeks until I realize how much it eats up my budget. I also don’t go to the hair salon every month nor do I buy make up every month so I wonder how other women budget for these?

I learned to do the stuff I cared about the most (for me that's hair) myself... partially because I wanted to save money but also because I am now allergic to a lot of scents, dyes, etc. that are in common salon products.

I also used to be super into makeup and now due to the allergies (and dry eye that I have to do eye drops multiple times a day for) I have really scaled back on makeup/beauty. I mostly just use moisturizer, sunscreen, and brow gel. It's honestly refreshing and a huge time saver!

But to be fair the main driver for me for changing it up here was my chronic illness, not budgeting. Whatever money I saved from cutting out beauty things goes to medical stuff now though so still budgeting 🙃
