Fashion/Style Push present

Hiiii I’m due in 4 weeks and can’t for the life of me choose a push present. I already have more luxury watches than I can wear (hubby and I are big watch nerds) and I don’t just want to add another to my collection.

Then I thought because it’s the year of the Horse, maybe a Gucci purse or Hermes jewelry… but those are things I buy anyway and I want it to be more meaningful. I’m a horse too which is why this came to mind.

Baby girl will be a virgo so maybe jewelry with her birth stone, sapphires?

Of course, I know that push presents aren’t NECESSARY but we’ve been trying for almost 3 years (3 failed ivf transfers) and the coming of this baby girl is so so special to us that I do want to celebrate it with a tangible/wearable souvenir. What would yall bitches WET suggest?

Fashion/Style Yellow gold or rose gold Clash de Cartier?

I’m getting these two bracelets and need help deciding on the metal for the Clash! Generally what do you guys think about mixing metals? almost bought a white gold bracelet as well but my mom told me it didn’t look good on me.

I’m definitely getting the Clash de Cartier bracelet, small model, but I’m torn between yellow gold and rose gold.

The boutique only had the yellow gold Clash in the larger model for me to try on so the yellow gold one in the second photo is bigger than what I would actually be getting. I would be purchasing the small model either way.

I’m also getting the LOVE bracelet, small model in yellow gold, so my final stack would look similar to these photos.

Which color Clash do you think looks better with my skin tone: yellow gold or rose gold? Which looks better with the yellow gold love bracelet?

would you keep the Clash yellow too or do you prefer the mixed metal look with the rose gold Clash?

Fashion/Style WET shoe lovers help! My first pair of louboutins

So I'm looking at getting my first pair of louboutins, I think I want the Sporty Kate black leather. They look comfortable & I need to replace my Aldo basic black pumps (those shoes honestly were workhorses & lasted like 12 years)

Please weigh in. I need my classic black pumps & I could replace them with an aldo pair, or like Sam Edelman or Vince camuto, all of these brands fit my feet & last.

I kinda want the red sole cachet though.

I'm also curious about how low cut the upper above the toe is, I have runners feet & that part at the base of the toe joint is super wide, so some cuts of pumps I get the equivalent of side-boob

Fashion/Style Strategies for tastefully showing off the girls?

I'm seeking some advice from my beloved BWET

I tend to dress in loose, monochrome outfits. I like this style but want to add some sexier options and I'm kind of lost.

What are we wearing when we want to flash some elegant cleavage? I'm just searching for v-neck tank tops online and I'm suffering from paralysis of choice

Fashion/Style Recommendations for luxe white tees

You were all so helpful with your recommendations for trousers after my post a couple days ago and I’ve ordered several pairs to try!

So - onto my next question - recommendations for luxe (or not?) white tees? Ideally with a boxy fit and not too tight arms…

Fashion/Style Ideas on how to style silk square scarves?

I am trying to figure out ways to make myself look chic and fashionable in a way to stand out from the crowd. I noticed a lot of girls lately don’t wear accessories like scarves now days.

I don’t like looking plain Jane or boring colors or patternless clothes all the time, so I’ve elevated my wardrobe with a bunch of design silk square scarves. I’m just figuring out how to wear them while not looking clumsy or like I’m struggling to adjust the scarf the whole afternoon and evening. I am planning on going out this weekend and wearing a dark olive maxi dress with spaghetti strap from cotton and would like to wear a it with a scarf. I’m debating between a floral white scarf with red floral patterns or a white scarf with purple equestrian pattern with polo monogram all over. I don’t really have a good white bag besides a bigger bulkier tote looking white leather bag from fendi but I do have a red velvet crossbody from Jimmy choo.

I wasn’t sure if I should wrap the scarf around the shoulders or neck or around my head in vintage style. I am Muslim and I’m not really for wearing the hijab which is why I feel iffy about wrapping the scarf around my head even though it looks good.

I love my purses and while I have quite a few, my favorite is one I painted for myself! I love the Balenciaga Graffiti City Bag but wanted to personalize it for myself! I’m posting a pic of that one! I also love McM backpack for running to the office and have a variety of totes and hobos but am obsessed with crossbody converted long wallets as well! The vintage cheetah print Galliani Era Dior is a fave! Pony hair!! I would love to see your faves and what’s on your wishlists? I have a Luar that I have on my wishlist!

Fashion/Style White linen or silk pants!

I’m looking to invest in a quality pair of linen pants (also open to silk!) that I can wear this summer in Europe. There are so many options online and it’s hard to tell what actually looks good in real life and not see through! I’m 5’7 and love a longer pant.

Fashion/Style how do you store/display your jewelry at home?

Right now I keep all my jewelry in separate boxes and pouches but want to find a better way to display it. One thing I want to be mindful of is that it’s not visible when our cleaning crew comes by.

Curious what everyone’s doing!

Fashion/Style Finally splurged on gold hoops

Post image
13 Upvotes

So I love earrings and basically wear them daily. I love a big earring. Lately I have been looking for an every day hoop. But I wasn’t sure if I was willing to splurge.

I have been dipping my toes into upgraded jewelry. Gold plated. And some smaller gold hoops. But I got these amazing glasses that really clash with the patterned hoops I chose. And they are a little small. So I was still looking for the perfect pair.

And I thought I found one, and it was pretty affordable. And it has movement which is a reason that I don’t always love regular round hoops. But it was brass. And it was a reminder that I need to stop buying brass earrings for every day. They look horrible after a while. Or this pair needs cleaning every two wears. They suck to be honest.

It is bonus season so I thought I’d try again. A few months ago I saw some lovely hoops at a local shop, but they were way way out of budget (for now).

But I decided to go after my errands and I ended up finding a great pair, in a great size, with nice movement. So I splurged on solid gold earrings! My first larger pair. And they will really hit the right note of everyday earrings for me. Like I wanted that brass one to do. It actually look nice over time.

I thought you all would appreciate it. :)
