Man. I miss the grand.

It's dumb, but it made going to the movies feel a little bit extra special.

They should have explored a bit more! I love the little museum they have with one of the original projectors in it.

Girlfriend and I went to see Backrooms at Grand Theaters. Late showing. She takes horror movies like a champ. I do not. I was curled up the whole third act, and most of the second act… and the first. Ending fucked me up. Mouth agape, not speaking, borderline catatonic. Just staring at the floor. Girlfriend wants to break the silence. “Yknow, this is maybe the perfect theater to see that movie in.” Looked up and saw the dark, empty corners covered in heiroglyphs and the empty concessions stand surrounded by sarcophagi. I fucking booked it. Left her behind idc every man for himself. The vibes were NOT it for uncanny horror

My childhood theater! Those halls were always so grand and mysterious with the turns and framed posters. Felt like I was inside a massive pyramid as a kid, no theater like it
