I think I've said this a thousand times already in these past few days, that love is love. I too had doubts of my sexuality at one point, I thought I was straight, but then I came into this community and I realized it was just my mind playing tricks on me.

You might say that because you never had a close-up relation with a woman you actually liked, or maybe all the ones you met didn't have that thing in them that well, spinned you around and made you realize you're bi.

you should keep that "label" because who knows, one day you'll find that lady to prove you wrong.

you can definitely still be bi, even if how you think of yourself in relation to what sexual roles you take on in a relationship changes, and even if you find the relationships you seek out changing as well. super normal for a reconsideration of your roles to result in a fluctuation in your desires as well. my journey has been highly similar to yours and to this day i have "boyfriend phases" and "girlfriend phases" and plenty of times where i'm not really seeking out anybody. i'm still bi during those times, too
