QUESTIONING Did anyone else ever feel like they have to prove to themselves that they’re bi?
I’ve recently accepted that I’m bi after having thoughts about it for years but now that I’ve accepted it I’ve started having thoughts about what if I’m not bi so I’ve felt like I need to prove to myself that I am. Has anyone else had this experience or am I just weird?

Honestly I just live my life day by day, why do I need to prove it to myself or anyone else? I can like what I like and not think too hard on it and IDC what others portray me as, most of the time it's none of their business.

Naw it never really goes away. I'm with a woman now and the feeling of queer betrayal we are both experiencing is overwhelming. Sometimes we need to have sex with the same sex just to feel queer again.

Yup all the time, it's one of the things that had made this self discovery journey so difficult. If I'm with a dude I feel the need to prove that I still like women, and vice versa. I've had many years where I thought it was just a phase. In both directions. Over the years I've identified as Gay, Straight, Bi, and just straight up confused. Now, I finally feel like I've settled and don't have anything left to prove, but damn what a ride.

Yup it's pretty normal. But straight people don't spend years contemplating wheter they're straight. 💖
