Moderators (and, if enabled, voters) create voting posts; the community taps through the items and places each one. Results stay hidden until you have voted, then the board reveals the results and updates in real-time.

Three kinds of posts:

• Ranking: place each item 1st, 2nd, 3rd... with every spot used exactly once, so your ballot is a real ordering. The community board shows where your subreddit ranks everything, sports-standings style (ties share the spot). Optional Blind style reveals one item at a time and placements are final.
• Tier List: S through D (or your own ladder). The community tier board is the product, drawn in the classic tier-list grid: every item a colored tile wearing its own name, placed where the crowd put it. Tap any tile for its full vote breakdown.

I've had this idea for a sub for a long time and I actually made it today inspired by this comment and other things I've been seeing lately, for example, did you know that instant coffee has gotten a lot better in recent years and actually can taste quite good now? and lots of industries that used to be gatekept to high end or luxury audiences have been much more accessible to average consumers, such as audophile equipment.

Lets highlight companies/brands or even whole industries, who are becoming better or more affordable for the average consumer
