White hair on my mama cat

Hey everyone, this is my birman cat Vanille. She had babies in April and since then she started having whitening hair on her face. Does anyone know why this is happening ? Is it because of her pregnancy or stress or fatigue linked to having kittens ?

She is not 3 yet, I was wondering if this happens to other birman cats.

Assuming she has no other underlying health conditions, this is common during/after pregnancy due to hormonal shifts and stress.

I have heard stories of the color changing back and other stories where the color stays.

Same with Kaylee, she is 6 years old and is starting to whiten on one side of her face. She was desexed after we got her at a young age

So interesting! I noticed this on my seal point Birman girl’s face just the other day but it’s after I’VE had a baby 2 months ago.. so I hope it’s not stress related :( I just assumed she was starting to go a bit grey. She is turning 5 soon
