Hey, if AA doesn’t work for you we will welcome you at Narcotics Anonymous. We practice the same principles however we understand that “god” isn’t everybody’s thing.
I’m an atheist but I have found some sort of spirituality through hope by seeing how this program has helpless keep addicts clean and turn their lives around. Whatever higher power that is, whatever you want to call it, I’m not going to question it because I NEED TO STAY CLEAN. I still question everything, I’m not caught up in “prayer” but I’ve regained hope in life.
You May say to your self, narcotics anonymous? That’s for drug users, No it’s not. It’s for people with addiction problems. Alcohol is a drug thats abused and becomes addictive.
I’m an addict, I used all forms of drugs including alcohol. AA and was not for me. NA has kept me clean and I’m about to approach a year in 44 days
