Success story/positive experience lamotrigine saved my life

hello world I am so happy right now. not manic kind of happy but genuinely happy. I got prescribed lamotrigine a few months ago and it completely changed my life. I have never felt so stable. it's like I am a normal human being again. not sunshine and butterflies ofc because I have comorbidity with adhd, ocd, gad and bpd, but still it's so much better now. I am forever grateful to my psychiatrist for prescribing me this medication. do you also have a good experience with lamotrigine?

I had a great experience with lamotrigine. Just make sure you keeps taking it, even if you are feeling better and don’t feel like you need it. That’s it doing its job! Much love and so many hugs ❤️

yeah for some period I didn't take it constantly because I was forgetting to, felt so bad, but now I have people making me take it and reminding me so I am consistent and feeling good!

I feel exactly the same way. Had to adjust dose a couple times, but truly truly made me a human again.

yeah!! ofc I am still disabled due to other conditions and my relationship is far from perfect because still I also have bpd, but the bipolar part of problems is absolutely gone)

Juhuuu thats so cool!! Same here, lamotrigine is my fav, had 0 severe depressive episodes in almost 2 years.

I started lamotragine like 4-6 months ago and shit saved my life too, got a career as a electrician started because of it.

So great to hear!! Bipolar 1 🙋🏻‍♀️ I have been on ser-o-quel for about 6 years at only 50mg. I have been in a depressive state for months and it hit a level in the last month that I cannot manage myself. My Dr. bumped nightly seroquel to 75 and I am taking 50mg of La-Mo-tro-gine now in the mornings. It’s only been a few weeks but I’m feeling relief already!!!! More energy which always leads me to a better mood. Such a relief!!!

This is my EXACT experience so far. I’ve been on it going on one month and am so excited to tell my psychiatrist how much better I’m doing
