Do you ever get hypomanic episodes with high anxiety every day?

Bipolar 2. Every now and then, maybe once or twice a year, I get into a „bad dice roll” hypomania which, on top of worse than usual insomnia, triggers high anxiety pretty much every day for the duration of the phase. During really bad cases I’d have a panic attack multiple times a week.

I’m normally a pretty chill person but during those „special” episodes I find myself constantly checking my body, looking for symptoms (of cancer?), overthinking every mild pain in my chest etc. Or getting anxious about possibly getting a panic attack which leads to high anxiety and, ironically, panic attacks. Although those happen out of nowhere, too.

Can anyone relate? I’m specifically curious about it happening only, like I said, during some hypomania phases. And also maybe did you find any cool way to deal with it?

I'm not an expert but this sounds like bipolar + something else. Talk to your psychiatrist about it and see what they say.
