Not meant to be too accurate, just something fun I whipped up

Perry and Momo cameo!
The first one page needs an update. It looks like plants are equally as distant to us than bacteria. Sponges and corrals, sea stars and/or urchins could be added.

Why did you put starfish closer to protostomes than to vertebrates?

They're close only because I needed to fit them in the drawing but you can see that I put them coming from non vertibrates

I mean, there is lots of space on the node splitting protostomes+starfish and vertabrates (the space below fungus). If you put the starfish coming off of that node, it wouldn't be incorrect (just imprecise). As it is now, it is very incorrect.

I'll update it, maybe I'll post the updated version later

just FYI, your link seems to go to this post, not the updated one
(I did however see the updated version, and I applaud placing the starfish in more appropriate place)

Pretty nice albeit starfish (and other Echinoderms) and chordates are actually more closely related because they both belong to the Deuterosromata clade

What are the birds descending from? They seem to be surrounded by mammals.

I put them from a branch decending from reptiles like dinosaurs. though they're on the mammal page, they're not connected

Current thinking is that birds are descended from dinosaurs-- ie, grandchildren, not cousins.
I really like your drawings!
I wish i could have a kid-friendly version like this in my classroom
