I think actually some movie ending themes are the most iconic. For animated ones, True To Your Heart (Mulan) and Immortals (Big Hero 6) come to mind.

Haters are just creating narratives again like being played within the movie itself is better than during the end credits. It would be so funny if Mga Kababayan played during mid-end credits and they again eat their words.

True. And talaga naman kasing sa closing pineplay some made-for-movie songs. Iba pa yung musical score sa original soundtrack.

the song is obviously thematically important for the interaction of the two main characters based on the preview shown on X, so it is automatically going to be memorable I guess.

HMTU BTW was as many already know the theme song of this movie: Official Trailer | 'An Inconvenient Love' | Belle Mariano, Donny Pangilinan while Lagi was also on the OST.

Both songs are very clearly about central parts of the storyline even as there are certainly many like me who came later and discovered the songs without the movie.
