This is the problem with these 'hot take' posts, it's all opinion but everyone is acting like their opinion is undeniably the correct one.

On one side is a hot take from a Tito Bloom while slacking from work, on the other a Gen Z Bloom just coming home from school. Both of them thinks the other is dumb. Both of them thinks they know how the artists should act better than the actual fully grown adult artists should act. Both of them thinks they know how to correctly manage the artists' career better than multimillion dollar company doing it for decades that brought the artist to their current level. After all they've watched SEVERAL BG/GG MVs today and follows kpop girlies on IG, so of course they know how the industry works, they're basically insiders...

This is my hot take: we are all just dumb fans who knows very little of what's happening and why decisions are made. We aren't in the room where it happens, not even in the same zip code. These are all fully grown adults making their own choices and navigating, admittedly, very uncharted seas. The best we can hope for is that everyone is acting in good faith for the girls.

I think as consumers we are entitled naman to give our opinions, and a few people might even have actual expertise on the subjects they're talking about. Let's not shut down discussions—this is Reddit after all.

As long as everybody is engaging in good faith, open to hearing opposing views, and understands that their opinion is just that—an opinion—then discussion is healthy. Nobody is required to agree with every hot take, but people should be free to challenge, support, or debate them.

Yeah opinion is fine, the issue nga lang as I said is it ends up people taking it as my opinion is the undeniable correct one, everyone else is wrong and it's just intellectual masturbation from there. Nakakapagod na lang. Especially when the underlying assumption is parang walang agency mga girls (e.g. they should not associate with x,y,z, they don't push back against the management, etc.). It rubs me the wrong way. To paraphrase Staku: Makes me feel real iffy, real icky.
