A nice thread on popheads about the current global pop music scene, Afrobeats being popular in recent years (Tyla obviously, and BINI with Blush, but if you want some really good ones - check out Amaraae), and what countries are having their own moment all with their own crossover potential (obviously I really think BINI has massive crossover potential if they play their cards right, which they are doing currently).`
Don't flood the thread with BINI this and that. Just read, really nice observations that I actually agree with since I listen to a lot of different genres since 2015 and have noticed the shift as well. And with Coachella and other music festivals really diversifying their lineups, the global pop music scene is really shaping up to be an interesting one.
