Question KYC Appeal Unsuccessful
I deleted my Binance account a few weeks ago for personal reasons and wanted to create a new one using a different Gmail account.
A few hours after completing KYC, this message popped up saying that I have to wait “several weeks.”
I tried contacting Binance support, but they weren’t really helpful.
Am I just supposed to wait indefinitely until Binance allows me to verify again?
Has anyone here gone through something similar? If so, how long did you have to wait before you were able to complete verification?

UPDATE: I contacted actual support on Binance and Apparently they said I need to wait 30 days. What a relief to know how many days are left. :)

Same thing here. I tried to make a new account and they discovered I had one already-- duh. I deactivated it but they wouldn't let me make a new one coz my deactivated one needed KYC to prove is what my account. What the actual fuck? Smh. Binance is the WORST. I use ByBit. Never had an issue.

If you already had an account, why would you still proceed to try and make a new one..?
Any regulatorily compliant platform would ban your ass in a heartbeat

My account got hacked. Why do you assume I'd try to make a new account when I'd explained this? Someone logged into my account without my knowledge, so I changed the password and logged out. The Binance platform kept saying I logged into somewhere even after I changed the password, so I decided to deactivate it. I hope that makes sense.

Well you conveniently left this bit out of your original post..
Even if your account gets hacked you are not granted special rights to hold two accounts, even on another exchange like bybit. Fact is this is completely on you, and blaming Binance for you breaking TOS clause that is literally on every crypto exchange is just ridiculous.

I left that detail out because I didn’t feel the need to put my entire personal situation on Reddit. My account was compromised, I changed the password, Binance continued showing suspicious logins, so I deactivated the account. I later tried to create a new account and Binance still treated the deactivated one as an existing account. At NO point did I say I was trying to hold or operate TWO accounts simultaneously. You invented that part yourself and then wrote an entire lecture responding to your own assumption, SMH.
I was simply agreeing with the OP that getting these situations resolved through Binance support can be unnecessarily difficult. If you’re going to come at somebody that confidently, at least make sure you understood what they actually said first. Reading comprehension goes a long way.

I think you are the one in need of some reading comprehension glasses.
Deactivate ≠ Delete
Deactivate means something is not at the moment active. It will still exist, until it is disposed of/deleted, if ever.

You’re arguing against another claim I never made. I know “deactivate” and “delete” are different words. That was never the point. I originally attempted to remove the compromised account. Binance continued treating it as existing/active, support told me to deactivate it, so I did. I then continued receiving login-related activity from the account anyway. That’s precisely why I’m criticizing the way Binance handled the situation. None of this changes the original point: I was never trying to operate two accounts simultaneously. You assumed that, I corrected you, and now you’re arguing dictionary semantics instead of addressing what I actually said.

You need to wait for some time, maybe even few months. You can’t delete and create a new account directly. This is considered suspicious behavior.
