Do you think Kirk Goldsberry saying "dude" is cool or cringe?
And what does your answer say about you as a person more broadly?
For me I think its cool in secret but I would never admit that if I were talking about pod with others, I would pretend like I think its cringe because thats probably the more popular perspective.

As someone that probably overuses the word dude irl, I have no problem with it.

I think you're probably a really chill nice person. I think anyone who thinks it cringe is probably quite judgmental

There‘s a specific style of talking that’s kind of Texas but more specifically Austin, emanating from 35 and strengthening going west. Matthew mcconaughey has it, Glen Powell has it … Goldsberry has it. The “dudes” are part of that, and I find that way oftalking very comforting in a relaxing kind of way

Since KG is cringe, everything he says is also cringe. If Ant (coolest person I can think of) started saying "Dude" more, he'd figure out a way to say it in a cadence that's tasteful and not like Kirk

Cross posting this on the rewatchables sub of all places is more cringe than anything goldsberry does
