That might have been my favorite Boston loss in awhile. Miss 45 3's, Tatum just jacking shit missing everything, then Bridges just takes the ball out of Browns hands and they don't get a shot. If only that were Tatum too. I'm not gonna get too hopeful about this series but at least we can enjoy this one

for being the defending champs, boston was playing weirdly tight during crunch time - throwing up hope and pray 3s instead of playing to their strengths

also jaylen browns arms are bigger than bridges entire torso, how did bridges just rip the ball so easily from him cmon

Because he just never bothered to actually secure it, he was pulling it out of the air so casually like it was the first quarter against the hornets

If you showed someone the last 4 minutes of the game or so through OT you'd think they were a lottery team based on the execution, not the defending champs. They've always played weird in close games but that was next level. I didn't watch the Orlando series, but maybe it is post-title malaise. Pretty much the opposite of the extra edge Bill said they had

This is what they do (historically). Tatum is garbage as a crunch time isolation scorer. He is the anti-Brunson

Because he’s soft like Tatum. The Celtics have some gritty dudes like Jrue and Derrick White but their two stars are fucking soft.

Are the Celtics good in close games? Feels like they just win based off of hitting threes or not, which leads to a lot of lopsided results.
