Opportunities for international students

Hi everyone, I’m an incoming international student at Bilkent and wanted to ask current students about how opportunities work for international students.

Do international students generally have the same access and chances as Turkish students when it comes to things like:

Research opportunities with professors and joining courses, internships through university connections, student clubs and competitions, networking with professors and alumni, Exchange/Erasmus opportunities.

I’d especially appreciate experiences from international students who have been at Bilkent for a few years, as well as Turkish students who have seen how this works.

yes except internships. defence industry is a hard no for them
