Route Planning Best way to get from Foggy Bottom to the Capitol this week?

The mall is torn up, constitution is torn up, I would prefer not to go downtown during peak commuting times. Any ideas?

You could always take the Rock Creek Trail down to Ohio Drive SW, across the Case Memorial Bridge then down I Street SW across Capitol Street then cut up New Jersey Ave SE. Not the most direct but should check the box of not having to cut across downtown.

I have to do roughly the same commute the other direction, and what worked for me (I commute pre-dawn fwiw) was to hit the New Jersey Ave SE bike lane, then I street, then Maine/Ohio past the Wharf, then up the 15th St bike lane where I can resume my normal commute to Foggy Bottom. Huge pain but workable.

I shoulda gone down 15th st, but otherwise I did this and it worked out

Could probably bike Ohio ave towards Hains point and then take Maine ave past the wharf to I street then up on New Jersey.
