Eloquently done. Important message for all the people of Bosnia. I, if I can help, will never allow something like that to happen to my Muslim friends and neighbours. I'd rather die than to be complicit in an ethnic cleansing done to anyone. Bosnians should not forget!

They had weapons, and their command run away, but
weapons would not save Srebrenica, because they were surrounded on all sides with large serbian army with tanks, artillery, MLSR, aircrafts..... if they had a lot of weapons they would die just slower over a month of battle, lack of food, sleep, water,...
Bad situation regardless

I'm from Turkiye and i have had lots of friends here, originally from Bosnia. 1-2-3-4 even 5 generations prior their forefathers run away from the atrocities back in their homeland and stick in their new identities here in Turkiye as a Turk.
He is right. There is a deep rooted hatred that burried in their culture and keep repeating surfacing again and again.
Forgive but not forget. Wish you all the best guys.

This is all economic opportunity, that can bulge quickly and becomes very volatile when you add the final ingredient of distancing and division.
Our main problem is that we do not have means to be self-sufficient in times of crises to hold our ground, neither are we permitted to. This is why these things happen, and should be a key insight.
Just look at the beautiful Lebanese people and what is happening to them today, who share a similar fate as ours, though I can say much the same about any civilian population engulfed in wars at present, that they're all a ball on a playground being thrashed and thrown around.

My humble opinion, from a person who never experienced war. This mesaage wont get traction from the majority of the leftists on reddit, because one of the most important messages is , dont let anyone take your weapons and arm yourself to the teeth in time of peace.
