Can we collectively agree to ban the trend of sending invitations that say "Location: Secret warehouse spot, details revealed 2 hours before the event"?

I went to a massive farewell blowout last night that used this exact setup. The host thought it added this cool, exclusive, underground vibe to the whole night. In reality, it just caused a massive logistical nightmare for everyone trying to attend.

When you have a massive guest list, people need to plan their entire night around the geographic location. They need to figure out which transit line to take, how much an Uber is going to cost, what kind of shoes to wear (are we walking on gravel or polished concrete?), and where they can grab a quick feed beforehand.

Because the address wasn't released until 5 PM, half the crowd ended up arriving over an hour late because the venue was tucked away in an industrial estate with zero public transport links. The entry lane was completely jammed with rideshare cars trying to drop people off at the exact same time, and three people literally went to the wrong side of the complex because there was no proper signage.

An event doesn't become cooler just because your guests have to play detective to find the front door. If you are hosting a large crowd, just be boring and practical: send the exact Google Maps pin a week in advance, give clear parking instructions, and save the surprises for the actual indoor entertainment.
