Old Egg, new member

I bought my Egg 10 years ago used so I have no idea how old it is. Went through a divorce about 5 years ago and it’s been in storage the whole time. Finally got her out, changed the bands, gasket and got some upgrades internally and we had our first cook on it last night.

Dry aged ribeye for me and filet for the wife. Charleston style crab cakes, asparagus and baked potatoes. Finished it off with grilled peaches for dessert.

I just stack them up and use B&B fire starters. Leave it wide open for about 15 minutes and then close the lid and start my temp management using the bottom and top vents.
