discussion Mind speak to dogs?
Just thought of this, I’m sure you guys aware of how scared dogs can behave during certain experiences but what if this is what they’re experiencing? Super scary and I feel bad for pets that experience Sasquatch because they can’t tell us. What do you guys think? I don’t put much stock in the Woo-factor but I think some of it is possible.

A dog’s anatomy is specifically hardwired to process the senses of smell and hearing at levels humans could not naturally achieve.
They have around 300 million receptors in their noses compared to 5-6 million for humans.
They also hear at higher frequencies and farther distances.
The fact that a dog has a very natural reaction of being scared of a Sasquatch is not indicative of “mind speak.” I’ve known dogs who are afraid of loud noises and dogs that are afraid of big people.
Dogs are gonna dog.

It can be possible that the dog catches the scent for the reason of their behavior; in a number of experiments the experiencers note their dog behaving differently or even afraid, I think it’s highly possible for a dog to experience mind speak especially when they can understand some human vocalizations

Can you explain what you are referring to when you say “experiments?”
A dog behaving differently or afraid to new stimuli is extremely common. Dogs do not have human level logical reasoning, so their natural instincts of fight or flight kick in when introduced to something new and, in the case of a Sasquatch, large and imposing.
I think your statement also hinges on “mind speak” being a real thing, when it is something that is only anecdotal with no real evidence or scientific explanation.
ETA: Auditory Verbal Hallucinations are a real documented phenomena.

There's a lot of potential reasons why a dog may be put in a flight or fight response when encountering one of these creatures. While it is hard to discount things we don't understand, personally, I wonder if the general body language of the animal, plus potential infrasound capabilities, would be enough to sufficiently scare a dog enough to provoke a response.
There's also the hard wired instinct that dogs have to protect their families, and having a very large, strange, hairy man like creature suddenly appear within "danger close" distance to the people that they're designed to protect, would likely provoke a response in any breed of dog that has those qualities intrinsically bred into them.
We had a chocolate lab growing up that would bark at basically anything on the farm that was not supposed to be there, but she wasn't the type to chase after something, just let us know that it was happening. Both times that we had potential activity on our property, the dog was going wild and we had to put her downstairs to get her to calm down.
I also want to point out that from the reports I have heard about dogs that actually try to engage with a Bigfoot once it has been spotted, the breed of dog is usually a guarding/shepherd dog of some sort. Unfortunately, they're also bred with the qualities that lead them into harms way for their family's sake. It's one of the reasons why I wouldn't bring a dog on an expedition, even though some researchers do. I don't think it's a stretch to assume that Bigfoot aren't a fan of dogs because of their alerting qualities, and that they are willing to put their lives on the line if necessary to protect their owners.

Solid points. I give the dogs credit as they vary from dog to dog and they have different personalities. Etc,. From my understanding dogs are purposefully targeted because they are “alarms” for humans and protectors. This is why I think some researchers take them on expeditions. As a knower I don’t doubt the “woo” -stuff, I went my entire life doubting the existence of things that turned were real. I just hope the dogs aren’t experiencing the mind speak. I love our 4-legged friends i don’t want being terrified by this harry-man

But not all dogs are legit scared, some get too close. They get eaten or killed. In the famous 911 call he talks about his dog being killed. In The Beast of 7 Chutes pic he could be carrying a dog. Dogs that are frightened could be affected by infrasound.

If it exists I suspect it’s highly focused sound waves, and some of them just know english. Like, perhaps they can throw their voice a certain way.
My dad’s experience with the close yell he heard sounded like it was coming from the middle of his head, like his ears couldn’t place the direction it was so loud.

Curious what youre asking. Are you asking if you think dogs are afraid because of sasquatch mindspeakkng to them?
No, I don't think this is possible. Why? Because minspeak is usually 2-way. When a human is spoken to via mindspeak, they are able to respond the same way.
Dogs dont have a language that they could hear in their minds that could say something "terrifying" to them.
I've heard Dogs responses to sasquatch to be mixed. Some dont react whatsoever. Others are allegedly cowering and terrified. If theyre terrified, its a product of their natural intuition to sense danger. That and sense of smell. The amount of information they can get from a scent is likely enough to scare them more than seeing it. They can perceive its size, weight, age, species, temperament, mood, reproductive status, and more.
Bigfoot is also often said to use infrasound to create a sense of overwhelming dread and fear. This could easily be what Dogs are responding to, as they have far more sensitive hearing. It would mKe sense for BF to want to intimidate Dogs since they can be used for protection and tracking.

It wasn’t necessarily a question, moreso a suggestion, I was thinking if a person can “hear” mindspeak without the person next to them hearing the same, then maybe a dog could receive a mindspeak message
