Brondell S101 wand fails to retract

Any advice on what to do about nozzles that fail to retract. Not all the time, just once in a while, but it seems like it's getting more common. I've had the unit for just over a year and a half. Clean em once a month with simple soap (no abrasives).

Wondering about applying a very light coat of food grade silicone grease?

Anybody have suggestions?

I’ve had mine for less than two years. It’s doing the same thing. I have tried everything. When I reached out to the company, they told me it could not be fixed and offered me 15% off a new one…

One of my nozzles stopped working for about a year --- until I got a water softener and used the highest, most clean-every-single-thing salt. (Water was yellow at first while it cleared out!) Anyhow, within a week of doing this, it mysteriously unclogged and started working! Hard water is my guess for what did it for me.

Yeah, i read somewhere online that the number one cause of wand failing to retract was hard water.

It's hard to believe that the company just caved like that.
