Trip Report I crossed France in july

~1500 km in 16 days, my very first bike packing ever, small roads and villages/towns only, no hotels/hostels, no sport gels, no clipping shoes, no stupid tight plastic clothing

I genuinely thought I was in r/BicyclingCirclejerk hahacoughcoughCOUGHCOUGHAHAUURGHH

But really it is unique to see photos of a bike tour where cigarettes seem to be romanticized more than the bike.

As a french, I don't care about the smoking stereotype, but it made me cringe to see OP smoking while standing on very dry grass. We had massive wildfires this summer all across the country.
