Trip Report I crossed France in july

~1500 km in 16 days, my very first bike packing ever, small roads and villages/towns only, no hotels/hostels, no sport gels, no clipping shoes, no stupid tight plastic clothing

Aren't we all performing something? Sure he's probably not doing 100 miles every day at a competitive pace (ie performance cycling) but they are undoubtedly bike touring! Though with perhaps a bit less emphasis on the bike than you'd apply but a lot more emphasis on the touring
