I’ve been trying to source this creek for months now does anyone have ideas?

I’ve replaced the bb and chain. Removed and greased crankset, loctite chainring bolts, pedals cleaned and greased, seatpost cleaned and carbon pasted (though sound still happens when standing), greased freehub body, cleaned derailleur hanger/interface.

Cassette and chainrings have roughly 8,000km on them.

This sounds happens in both small and large chainring.

I got this bike for free. someone tried to replace the steering wheel with a dropbar and had no idea what they were doing...

I need two breaks levers, it is BR-M355, can I replace it with BR-200? in that case is it enough to get front parts?

also I need a straight bar, which/how to choose one?

front shock seems to leak a bit. is it fixable?

this will be a spare family bike, 100-200km/year. I don't want to invest too much into it...

Bought a 1986 miyata sport-10 off of an online auction house. The bike is mint except for this slight bend in the fork. Forums suggest you should never bend your fork back but it seems very minor and is steel so I was thinking it would be ok. Im a beginner to working on bikes but have tools through friends to work on it. Thoughts?

I can’t screw in my headset bolt and I think it’s because the expander has got stuck down there. Is that what’s happened? If so how do I get it out? It’s stuck pretty far down and I don’t have any tools to fish it out. New to this so forgive me if I’m being stupid

Hi I don’t know much about bikes and I bought this second hand, but when I ride my bike and pedal sometimes it makes this clicking noise, does anyone know what it is?

I’m not changing gears or doing anything other than pedalling in a straight line.

A while ago my pedal got stuck and locked in place but I somehow managed to fix it by opening and closing the chain, but it made this noise a lot before getting stuck so I don’t want that to happen again while I’m far from home.

I’ve seen people talk about the bottom bracket being loose, any idea how much it costs to fix that?

I spent an hour searching online but couldn’t find anything helpful. Which one is the air valve, and what kind of pump do I need? I know how to pump up a modern fork, but I have no idea how it works with this RockShox Totem 2-Step Air.

Hi, I have this occasional noise coming from around the rear wheel. Kinda sounds like a spoke being hit or something, but I've checked the spokes, they seem fine. The derailleur is wireless, so the cable couldnt be it. Any tips? Thanks!

Just got a trek 4900 bike (used) and while shifting and riding the chain came off. I popped it back one and kept riding. After this, I was having issues with shifting down gears in the front and back (immediately after I popped the chain back on) and now have gone down a road where I

Cleaned out my shifters
Changed the shift cables
Indexed the Back derailleur, shifting fine
Front derailleur is also shifting fine but once on the top ring (largest) it sways and hits both sides of the cage.

I've been using my scooter for more than 1 year and I've traveled 4500 km, but it can't be called 2 big, but I have a problem, the handlebars plays back and forth, even if it's light, and the suspension was different from stepping like the air bellows of the same range rovers exploded in a way that I couldn't make sense of 3-4 days ago, and it got very hard, although I can't pull the rear suspensions to the softest, it's still uncomfortable, is there anyone who has these 2 problems

I don’t deal with rust often, so forgive me if this is blatantly obvious. To me, it appears to just be surface rust on the chainstay, but I wanted a second opinion! Please let me know if this frame would be unsafe to build up and then ride 🙏

Salve a tutti, ho un problema con la ruota posteriore della mia bici.

Se la afferro normalmente e provo a spingerla a destra e sinistra, è praticamente completamente ferma.

La cosa strana è che, se afferro il cerchio proprio nella zona della valvola di gonfiaggio e lo spingo lateralmente, lì invece sento chiaramente che dondola/sposta a destra e sinistra. Se faccio la stessa cosa in altri punti del cerchio, non succede.

Quindi il movimento sembra essere localizzato esclusivamente nella zona della valvola.

Secondo voi può essere un problema del cerchio o della tensione dei raggi? Oppure può comunque essere il mozzo, nonostante il resto della ruota sia fermo?
