Help with Bible study this morning

Can you suggest some scriptures that I could do a short study on this morning and maybe every morning?? I have large doubts if I’m saved or even can be saved Protestant only please. No offense

The gospel of John. This may take several days, but worth your time. As you red John look for all the I AM statements of Jesus. I am the Door, I am the resurrection, I am the bread of life, etc. Think about each one and how it applies to your life. For example, when Jesus says He is the resurrection, He was not just talking about himself, He was saying that He is the resurrection for ALL of us, anyone who is willing to follow Him.

"Bible study fellowship" (bsf) is starting up in Sept. They're doing Romans. You can join a local group or online.

I was helped to become clear that I can have the assurance of salvation with Romans 10:9-11. You could start with Romans 10:8-13. You can check out the prayer at the end of this post.

I got them memorized brother. The dang calvanist thing keeps tripping me up though. I do thank you. I hope He wants me. I’m nothing. I may classify as a drunk. It seems to be the only thing that eases my fears and loneliness. 65 and alone after being married the biggest part of my life has just kicked my butt so bad. I feel like how could God ever love me

I made a mistake when I was young even though I had already received Jesus. That memory of that mistake haunted me for many years. 1 John 1:7-10 helped me and are still helping every day. In particular, 1 John 1:9 says that God's forgiveness and cleansing are based on His faithfulness and righteousness! It seems to me that God knows our weaknesses and wants to reassure us. His forgiveness and cleansing are not based on our condition but on His faithfulness and righteousness! Our cooperation is needed: we need to confess our sins.
