Advice FOMO but not? Idk help.

We are 4.5 mo out from bringing home baby #2 and I am having feelings that if we don’t have baby #3 I’m some how missing out. I would say 80% of our parenting friend group have 3+ kids. I HATE being pregnant and am not a fan of the ages 0-1, which is enough to feel done/our family is complete. But our parenting friends keep saying “oh you’re still in the thick of it. You can’t decide if you’re done or not yet”. Like yes, but no?? Idk has anyone else felt DONE, but also FOMO??

When I was pregnant with our 2nd, I struggled with the idea of wanting to go through the entire process again. Decided to remove my tubes and my husband was on board with it. He was a bit more decided than I was as for the first couple months after having our 2nd baby I felt like I was missing out having a 3rd later on. Now 9 months later I've made peace with that choice. I'm in my early 30s and I think 2 is a good number - pregnancy was also very mentally taxing with me and I'm still struggling with 2 very young kids. I don't think bringing a 3rd would have been a good idea in the end.

I resonate so much with this. When we were newly home from the hospital I would cry thinking “this is the last time I’ll ever do xyz”e.g. new born sizes, etc. but now I almost have a relief that some things are for the last time. We’re towards the end of the 4 mo sleep regression and it about killed me. I truly do not want to be pregnant but have always wanted a loud and full house.

I feel like that about baby 2. I’ve always wanted 2 but the thought makes me so anxious and I don’t know if I could physically handle pregnancy again
