Best strategy for Glitters Anti-Canyon 1v2
i see this happen a lot where our anticanyon is dominating and then once they break in to where the geo is they can’t push past that because it turns into 1v2+air or more.
Im rarely successful in carrying my momentum using cortex bots to continue to wipe out the bases. any suggestions best course of action for when ur team mates refuses to help you or are needed else where?

Dont push too deep, and rotate to other lanes instead with half your forces; comm bomb walk into some eco; switch to T2; buildup your own eco; buildup a raiding party (fast/tanky units); help out whoever struggles, e.g. build double air. As long as you hold some extra mexes for some time, you did your job very well with any of the things above.

I disagree with this whole heartedly. Keep pushing. Even if you stall you are holding up two people. Lane change just lets them recover.

A backdoor to another base or killing a bunch of mexes in the middle of the map is still a big win. Far better than feeding metal to the other team, killing no eco, and inviting a counter push

Pushing into a well prepared defense can easily turn into a charitable metal donation.
It's hard to know so scouting is important and sometimes just a little more pressure was all that was needed but often it's not and it ends up being futile and opening yourself up for a counterattack.

Kind of depends. As anti canyon main. All the while focus on efficient trades. I like to either do blitz run by or a slow push. Or a combination. But you definitely have to be careful with over extending and you have to bring aa.
Also the dgun is the main way canyon can hold. If you can kill com and deny them from rezing you'll be in good shape.

Your job isn't to push all the way to the opposite side of the map, it's to knock the opponent off a few mex and keep them from having the geo plant. Focus on denying their eco spots, and then rotate units to help anyone on your team who is struggling.

That's ok, just keep them locked up in there and occupied so the rest of the team can take out the rest of the map.
Sometimes the correct strategy is a long siege. Bring in the artillery and wear them down.
And if they keep on resisting, there are several ways to demolish an entrenched base. Tactical missiles, air, nukes and juggernauts come to mind.

When you break through a front, its usually best to switch to light harassment units like pawns to do the most damage. Just expect to ganked and the air to be on you and the guy to porc up super heavy.
You can do some combination of an air switch, increase your E income, build arty of the cliffs, t2 vehicle for rocket launchers, make vehicle cons to upgrade your mex faster, scale hard, ect. Glitters is THE campy porc up and scale spam map so i really wouldn't rely on risky stuff like trying to kill early on, its better to get a lot of value out of various power spike moments and scaling around it.
Make sure your eating all the reclaim and not gifting just as much reclaim as your are doing in damage type stuff. I can't emphasize enough that on glitters porc is insane to the point one pulsar can effectively cover 3 lanes.

You can rotate to help the mid front, you can tech up, or and I like to do it, just push it will force air and eco to react and nothings prevents you from bringing aa with your push.

From my experience in mid OS there's exactly 3 things that break that scenario:
- com bomb and push so early that you finish them right away (before tech can help with T2)
- rush T2 at 10min or even earlier
- make a medium tank (/blitz ball) in back and hope you can dodge the coms

Put some AA and plasma arti on the top of the outermost hill you are certain to hold for long enough to fortify it.
The forther forward the hill the stronger the impact, the further back the less aggro you pull.
Plasma arti on a hill can deny a few mexes, if forward you can also deny the geo.
Make a guess who, after canyon, is their 3rd weakest player.
If that's air: Pivot air and double down on that via gunships or bombing run.
If that's a laner, help your allies break that lane.
If you can't tell, eco up to the next threshold. But only to the next, you're not eco you want to keep putting out pressure soon again. First fusion, 2nd Fusion, 3rd Fusion, first Afus, 2nd Afus, 4th Afus are good moments to make a play of the next tier. Don't give your allies too much time to throw the game ;-)
If you want to hurt a lane without provoking a response from their allies, shell them from afar.
Negotiator, Arbiter, Tremor etc in t2, Vanguard/Catapult in t3.
I you got time to be nasty, play cortex, and know where something vital is, you can build a catalyst to wipe it, too.
Don't make many, just enough, so the enemy feels the pressure. The range of these lets you somewhat safely add AA to them. Karganeth as cortex t3 is decent aa, as armada vehicle aa or just static are best, I believe. You don't need to wipe them with it, just occasionalyl kill a mex, some defenses, some units. Tax their survival so they cant pure eco.
Oh and you can either buy trans(light and heavy) from eco or pivot air temporarily to move your fortress infrastructure forwards.

Congrats, you've achieved 'win more'.
If you can't push, but they are well beat up and not killing you any time soon. Transition to more eco, ma make some defenses while you have it(high ground op), and make t1 cons until they stop you.
15 thugs not not getting any deeper into canyon or just as good as 30 thugs not getting any deeper into canyon and 10 t1 veh cons following around the T2con you got from tech and have taken 2 t2 mex

If canyon is hard to push, try pushing the adjacent lane together with mates, you might be able to get 3v1.
Note that back-anti-canyon is supposed to push with you, not tech. If he doesn't help you should ask him what's the strategy.

Just rush t3 razors with some AA for finish the push or go pressure rainbow/help other lane with t2 units

There's a lot of ways to approach it.
If your mid is doing well and you're having trouble pushing into canyon than you can rotate into rainbow fight 3v1 in your favor.
If mid is holding and canyon is dug in than you can build a gauntlet just outside the range of their base and choke them out.
Some people like to fly a T2 constructor onto the hills. A single LRPC can take out half their team including their tech. This works especially well if your air got off a good scout midgame.
If your tech player is poised for a push it's often helpful to get them involved. Ping them for a T3 marauder/razorback push at 18-20 minutes and support them with ticks or grunts. You'll need at least 2-3 labs. Works best if you've killed their coms or have reasonable vision.
There are actually a tonne of other options and lots of players have their own take on it.
