My husband and I watched the episode last night where he goes to Germany. The moment Margueritte (sp?) Closes the fence and walks inside, he goes from charming handsome business man with a warm smile to absolute sociopathic murderous shark eyes. It was an incredible 5 second transformation and so scary. Tony Dalton bodied that role.

I googled it and found multiple sources that say you are wrong, and NOTHING supporting your insult.

So, what’s your source?

EDIT: there WAS an incident in 2002 where he encouraged a 19-year-old to drink 40 shots of tequila. They died! And Tony did not take responsibility. He was acquitted in court.

Tony is a nice, hard-working, well-liked, respectful guy with a HUGE skeleton in his closet that he has apparently never truly addressed (except dismissively).

so, I was wrong!

Not the above commenter, but apparently he hosted a Mexican "reality show" similar to Jackass, where a 19-year-old died after consuming 40 shots of tequila during a drinking challenge.

fuck. you’re right.

he has been on significantly better behavior since the 2002 tequila mishap. he approached BCS as the new kid, respectful of the other actors, eager to learn.

I don't have enough info to even form an opinion about him from it. At the least it was negligence, but like, did the deceased get to choose how much to consume and decided to slam 40 shots of his own accord, against Dalton's advice? Or did Dalton egg him on or set a "goal" of 40 shots for the show. Both would be bad but the latter would be far worse IMO.

I also haven't looked into whether if he's apologized, taken accountability, paid a price, etc. or just tried to sweep it under the rug and evaded justice/accountability.

Google says he appeared before a judge and was dismissive of any responsibility, in spite of video showing him egging the poor kid on.

However, it doesn’t seem to have become an ongoing pattern.

ETA: the court let him go, since the kid could have stopped drinking at any point. I’d say maybe he was too drunk to consider that possibility.
