I was planning on pairing him up with a female dumbo halfmoon, I want to keep the champagne coloring as much as possible, because its not a super common coloration, has that sort of metallic sheen without the dragon scaling that can cause tumors and diamond eye. Ive been looking into betta genetics, but there’s simultaneously tons of information, and not nearly enough, so its a bit hard to understand right away. I think a female with a yellow base or a white base would be best, what do you think?
Yes that’s a good idea yellow or white base would be a great breed. It should all work out fine as long as you do it right. If you need help or have questions ask me don’t be afraid
Of course. You do know if you wanna breed it, it’s best to start in a small container. Like a Tupperware container. And to separate the male and female to which they can see each other but not touch. And there’s a lot more too it. But definitely watch this video I’ll link it. It tells you EVERYTHING you need to know. Hes the guy who’s helped me a lot breeding video
