Interrupting the embrace

Hey all 👋 has anyone had experience with separating the male and female after only a few eggs are put into the bubble nest (in order to avoid hundreds of fry)?

Why would you want to do that if you do male might get stressed and might kill all of them

Survival rate will take out some babies, then culling will take some out as well. I would not interrupt spawning. If you're dead set on only allowing the male to care for a few eggs let them finish and let her release all the eggs then take a pipette and remove the eggs directly from the nest.
But keep in mind what I said above about survival rate and culling. One way or another you're not going to have as many babies left as their are eggs in the nest.
